Doctors can prescribe so-called "medical cannabis" based on cannabis flowers for patients in Czech since 2014. Since 2023 the amendment to the law made also available the extracts from medical cannabis. This provides doctors more accurate and efficient application and patients more appropriate medicament forms to utilize.
